The next conspiracy theory comes true: 5 years ago, the German Federal Intelligence Service (BND) informed the Merkel (2020) and Scholz (2021) governments that the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus most likely originated from a laboratory in Wuhan. Agents had collected evidence there. However, both administrations (Merkel/CDU and Scholz/SPD) kept the findings secret. Also because US President Donald Trump supported the laboratory theory at the time, Merkel probably did not want to give him any support. Scholz, in turn, later tried to please the Biden administration that always rejected the lab theory.
The public as well as the parliament were deliberately kept stupid for years. In return, there was a hail of state censorship against anyone who dared to publicly address the lab theory on the internet, i.e. only said what the government already knew.
For good reason, I have always been saying: "If the Age of Enlightenment has brought forth anything, it is surely this: NEVER take anything a government tells you at face value!"
